Christmas Pine Cones

Today is another busy Saturday.  We have a wedding this evening, but first I must workout, get the house ready for Monday guests and try to somehow squeeze in a nap.  I did however, find some time in the wee early hours this morning to make a card for this weeks Mojo Monday Challenge.


Most of the products are Stampin' Up! with the exception on the brown mat, rustic twine and stamp.

I Love Cupcakes

I just love cupcakes.  They are one of those food items that always taste great and that you can look forward to.  The weather is lovely and we're off to a rib potluck and wanted to post this beforehand.

This card is for the mojo monday sketch.  My bow was suppose to be sideways, oh well.
I used Stampin' Up! supplies for everything except for the rustic twine and cupcake adhesives.

Melon Mambo Flower

It's a beautiful morning on the great Okanagan this morning.  I should be outside in the yard, but instead I'm inside crafting.  I think some days my crafting rules my life.  Today’s card is for this week’s CR84FN colour challenge: gray, cream and bright pink.  I love to distress everything, so I have naturally done that with this card.

Botanicals and Bees

I'm so happy that my work week is over.  I cleaned most of the day as I now have 7 days off and need to catch up on my crafting.  This card was made using the color challenge from Mona and her design team.  Here were the colors CR84FN Color Challenge:

This is what I came up with:

This card is Old Olive layered with Botanical Gazette digital print (...love this set) and some news print from First Edition Digital Print. 

The illustration is from avintagetouch.  She has some beautiful collages.  The prima flower is from layoutsfromtheheart.  The seam binding is from The  Zipperstop.  I distressed and shaded the edges for a soft vintage touch.

It's hump day, only 2 more work days left.

I love the color combination over at the ColorQ blog!  The colors were Pink Pirouette, Certainly Celery, Kraft, Early Espresso, and White.
